Backpacks of Hope

Did you know that most foster children carry their belongings in trash bags?

Backpacks of Hope are distributed to foster children in our service area so they have something to store all of their belongings. Many children in foster care have never had anything that they can call mine.

Each backpack will include brand new items that will make them feel loved and cover basic hygiene needs during a traumatic time in their lives.

A Few Things to Remember as You Pack:

1. Please click the button below to download our Backpack supply list AND tags.

2. Please do not put mouth wash and anything sharp (ex. shaving razors & nail clippers) inside the backpack.

3. The backpack and every item in the backpack needs to be brand NEW. So many children in foster care have never received anything new. We want each child to receive the very best!

4. We would love for you to include a Bible and/or a Christ-centered age appropriate book.
