Christina’s Story

First, I would like to express my appreciation to Corey and Brittany Buckner who are over Always Endure. Thank you to the many supporters of this organization who donate time, money and encouragement to many people like myself.  

My story begins September 11, 2015. I was diagnosed with Leukemia and immediately sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. I spent several years going back and forth to Memphis and Huntsville for my appointments. The funding of numerous supporters helped to ease the trials and hardships that I endured during the treatments.  

This journey continues as I go back for check-ups to make sure no complications appear from chemotherapy and steroids. Due to all the treatments and surgeries, I have been unable to work until recently. St. Jude and our insurance paid for most of the expenditures but the money that was collected through Always Endure helped to pay for many expenses that were not covered and more. 

Praise the Lord that I have been cancer free for over two years. I started this journey at 16 years old and I am now 21.
