Bella’s Snow Ball 5k

1st Annual Bella’s Snow Ball 5k

This is our brand new race for 2020 taking place on Saturday, November 14, at 8:00 a.m.!  All proceeds from this race will help a local family (Kyle, Bailey, and Silas Lee Burton) with their adoption expenses. Our heart is to encourage and support families the Lord has led to adopt because the costs are high. Domestic adoptions range from $25,000 – $50,000+ and overseas adoption can be much more expensive. Without the prayers and support of so many, we would not have been able to provide our baby girl, Bella Faith, her forever home. We adopted our daughter Bella at birth in August 2018. Britt & I flew to California and stayed there for three weeks before getting clearance to bring her home to southern Tennessee.

This event kicks off our town’s Host of Christmas Past – a Christmas-themed event like no other! Similarly, this 5k run will be like no other. Princess Bella has invited you personally to her Snow Ball so it’s time to RSVP (aka register below) and get your outfit ready. Ruffled shirt? Tutu? Tights? What will you wear to the Ball? As fellow princes and princesses, we’ll make sure you have your crown, name tag (a blank bib for you to write your name and where you hail from… have fun with it!) and a red carpet entrance. We’re excited to see your style all dressed up! Because there will be no timing, this 5k is for everyone at all fitness levels – you just have to finish within an hour.

With COVID-19 in mind, we encourage you to bring a face mask to wear before and after the race in the start/finish area if/when social distancing is not feasible. We will have sanitizer stations scattered in this same area along with chilled water bottled from Princess Bella’s natural spring. To help spread everyone out at the start of the ball, we will have a one minute or less staggered start based off the time you believe you can complete the race route: 20 minutes or less, 21-30 minutes, 31-40 minutes, and 41-60 minutes. Water station workers at mile 1 and 2 will wear face masks and have samples of water from Bella’s spring (i.e. those cute, tiny bottles of water) ready to quench your thirst. Don’t worry about keeping the bottles as you run, they’ll have gloves and pick up what you discard in the vicinity of the water station.
